Taking Wing Stewardship offers unique opportunities to introduce individuals to the outdoors and various aspects of conservation and stewardship. All programs are completely FREE!
TURKEY PROGRAM
March 31- April 2nd, 2024
Participants will learn about turkey biology and behavior in addition to turkey hunting techniques, hunting rules & regulations and equipment. Best of all, participants will have then have opportunity to hunt turkeys with a mentor. This program takes place at Woodfire Lodge (formerly Triple J) in Brillion, WI over the course of 2 1/2 days.
To be eligible you need to be a minimum of 10 years old (no max age) and have 2 years or less of turkey hunting experience. That's it!
You do not need a turkey hunting license
You do not need to be a hunter education graduate
You do not need to have a firearm
You do not need any hunting experience
WHAT DO

PROGRAM
Learn to hunt pheasants! All ammo, food, materials are provided FREE of charge. Learn about pheasant biology and behavior in addition to pheasant hunting techniques, hunting rules & regulations and equipment. This is a 1 day program typically taking place in September.
